My name is Robyn Holloway, owner of The Handy Man, LLC. My company came to life as organically as a business possibly could, through word of mouth and happy customers. In February of 2022 a few friends and family knew of my background working as a builder for civilian contractors on military bases and other various federal installations. They began asking if I could fix little things around their homes and small businesses (of course I obliged). Soon I was receiving more referrals than I could handle and the project requests were getting bigger. This little side project was growing to the point where I would have to make it a “real” business or shut it down…

Since you’re reading this you can probably guess what path I chose.

The Handy Man quickly earned “Exceptional” status on our Thumbtack page with 100% 5 star reviews, and due to this I was contacted by the remarkably talented Design Producer of HGTV’s “Inside Out”, Carrie Kravetz! She asked if I could assemble a crew for some projects that they needed done on the show. Luckily for me, my brother, Sterling Holloway and our best friends, Shaun Powers and David Sanchez are phenomenal tradesmen in their own right and were ready to get onboard. With my team assembled, we went to work doing everything we could to creatively add to the transformation of a home for two of the most deserving people I’ve ever known, Paul Katami and Jeff Zarrillo.
